well according to the advise you guys have given. I am moving in the right direction. I should have mentioned that last year whenever he did get out and hunt it was with me, and he retrieved every bird shot over him and brought then to me with out commands. So I think the time will be well invested.

I live in Windom which is in the SW part of the state and we have had alot of siteings in the last 3-4 years. If you ask me there its just getting to be to many just to be considered and occasional siting of one passing through the area.

Well I have done the testing, x-rayed the hips and now I have a litter on the way. What I need now are some Ideas,pics and or dimensions of welping boxes others have used in the past. I am looking for someting that will keep the pups in and my kids out for at least a couple of days.

I also shoot the Xtrema 2 and it is a really great gun. My two other hunting budies shoot SBE II and have had more problems than I have has with my Xtrema 2. Their SBE II Had more problems cycling when the weather got down to that 5-10 degrees.

I had a older tri-tronics when I started, Then I bought a DT and now I am back to Tri-Tronics. They are hard to beat. If you are looking to save I few dollars you may want to check out the collar clinic for a refurbished system.

Does anybody know where you can get those sticks that the Vets use to stop bleeding. I have seen them used on open wounds and the on the toe nails if they bleed when they are cliped?? My Vet just called them stop sticks.

I have read that if MN goes through with the lead band down here they could face oposition from the NRA and Federal Cartridge Company. Federal is a MN company. I also read that the lead abn is not state wide it is just in the Farm Belt.

It has been good, I've had my fair share at the ducks and geese and now I have been after pheasants and doing pretty well. There is still alot of corn in around here so it hasn't been as good as other years.

I took my 1 year 5 month old GSP mik to the UT test in South Dakota yesterday and received at Prize 1 183. I ran him at 5 1/2 months in the NA and recieved a PZ III and then I ran him again 3 months ago and recieved a PZ I 112. I am pretty Pretty proud of him, this my first dog dog that I finished .

I have a GSP the same age as your Pudelpointer . I was showed how to steady useing a whoa post this summer. in one week I had noticable results. I think it took three weeks total and he was steady to fall. not alway perfect everytime but once you are there it is just repitition.

I just poured mine this summer, It also is a single run. I did the whole thing myself for under $120 and that was for a 6 x 18 pad with some rebar. You do need rebar, not like if you were to drive a car on it but enough to hold it together when it cracks.

but the best shorthair I have owned to date was given to me and didnt have any titles in 3-4 generations but man was she a BIRDDOG
I have one like that also, and I am working on getting tittles on her. I agree papers are not everything but they do help.
