Forgive me if you've seen this before- The Power of the Dog by Rudyard Kipling There is sorrow enough in the natural way From men and women to fill our day; And when we are certain of sorrow in store, Why do we always arrange for more? Brothers and Sisters, I bid you beware Of giving your heart to a...

Sucks to be Satan, today.
Think I'll grab a nephew or two and ease on out the back this afternoon for a round or two of clays.

Re: Do you allow your dogs on the furniture?

The way it always goes- 1.Dogs are never permitted in the house. The dog stays outside in a specially built wooden compartment named, for very good reason, the dog house. 2.Okay, the dog can enter the house, but only for short visits or if his own house is under renovation. 3.Okay, the dog can stay ...

Usually, but lines must be drawn, like when our Yorkie jumped off my lap in the easy chair and 60 pounds of Munsterlander gallumphingly replaced her. That's a No Go and this station, Bud!

Re: Old People aren't all bad.

When I was young, the old people were the generation that raised their kids in the Depression, somehow, and ran the farms and factories by themselves in their 40s and 50s while 8 million young men went off to fight Tojo and Hitler. Later, the old were that bunch raised with nothing but home made toy...
