She does mount other dogs that she plays with. I always pull her off and correct. Her demeanor doing it with me did not seem to be the same as when she does it to other dogs. If that makes sense, it did not to be as "dominant", but more "emotional".

You need to build an association between gunshots and birds. Tolerance does not mean gun conditioned or proofed.
