Well that's the way Chewy has always worked even before they got bought out. But I just bought 75 lbs of PPP for $3.00 more than I could have bought 50 Lbs from TSC. And I only have one GSP to feed.

What we have always done is get a 1/2 gal glass canning jar and fill it hot tap water. Not too hot though. Cover it with a towel and put it in the crate with the pup. We loved ours with the labs and other dogs. They have all gone to the dog kennel in the sky. I don't feel comfortable using it with our GSP's.

I think if you follow GH's advise you'll have a fairly easy fix. The dog has to know you are the dominate one. Personally I like a dog that growls at strangers at the door.
