I'm not clear if this will be your 1st shotgun experience? I would go to the gun club and talk to members that shoot clays and hunt... see what they are shooting. When you decide on a gun go back to gun club and pattern the gun... you'll probably need help from some members. You need to learn proper...

how about just finding a good obedience trainer for your dog? you might want to check your city ordinance about walking a unleashed dog. I would look at Dogtra collars in your search. I've had both Dogtra and Garmin products. Dogtra has been the most reliable for me.

AG,,, It's a common sense. I can't figure out why some people risk the liability of letting a dog run loose. I know a fellow that's not hunting this year because a loose pitbull killed his dog. Invisible fence works great to keep your dog in, but not useful keeping dogs out.

Enjoyed seeing your video's polmaise. You do train dogs to a higher standard. I like to get in front of the dog and flush whenever the birds allow it to happen. I don't like hearing this about the 550+... AG. Hopefully this is just a few transmitters with problems. Possibly a weakness in the transmitter for those that do spin the intensity knob frequently? OP... get the pup first. You will have plenty of time to evaluate which collar fits your need. The way things upgrade and improve there might be something better by the time your pup's ready for collar training.

Thanks for the suggestion all. I do have a pinch collar that I used for heeling and whoa training. Yesterday we took our normal 1+ mile walk. I went to pinch collar instead of harness. You can have your dog do both, heeling and being out front on a lead (mines 6ft). I say this because I like to walk my dog and exercise him in my neighborhood when I can't get him out in a field to run. I walk him out front with a harness on and have him pull on me so there is a small amount of resi...

A good ice chest, ice and zip lock baggies are all you need. Clean birds... leave whatever is required by game laws as proof on carcass. Place in zip locks and keep them on ice until you get home. My hunt buddies and I have done this many times. I also wouldn't keep fish very long on ice.

You could check out outdoor photographers websites. They usually have a search where you could type in Brittany and it will bring up their photo's, if they've shot photo's of the breed.
