My male 1 and 1/2 yr old GWP will not let me touch his feet. He is just too strong. I may be forced into taking him to a vet. there must be a way to train him,so I can cut his nails. I don't have any help available.

It seems as if different states have different starting times for pheasants and quail. I like the later start times.

Here is a couple pic of the new GWP pup. With the use of a few pigeons he is ranging better. Still haven't figured out photobucket.

I just picked up a pup from SD, He Would not fit under an airline seat. besides how would you keep him or her quiet. Mine cried most of the way home SD to Colorado Springs,660 miles in a med size crate.

It's been so long that I am not sure how much and what brand to feed him, I brought a bag of Purina ProPlan puppy food and been giving him a couple hand full 3 times a day. I do...

If it's a big dog do not feed it all at once. feed more than once a day. I learned the hard way. feeding several times a day goes a long way towards preventing bloat.

I have a rescue Britt that is gun and thunder shy. she came from Neb, I just thought gun and thunder shy went hand in hand. Needless to say, I wasn't told she was gun shy, when I picked her up.

How do dog breeders guard against pups becoming gun shy during a mid west thunder storm?? I Think it is mostly breeding.
