Update. I went and bought a Furminator brush and was surprised on how much shedding it picked up. Looks like she is shedding her undercoat. She looks better already! Thanks for the replies!

Hi. My female GSP is now four years old. Over the past month and a half, her coat has started to become wavy. Food has not changed for over a year. Does anyone have thoughts of what it may be? She does have thicker hair.

Took my GSP out for the start of her second year of dove hunting. I'm 100% sure that she enjoys it more than me. Huge improvements from last year. I used to feed Pro Plan Large Breed Chicken and Rice but my 10mo old female GSP had real bad dandruff, ear wax build up and ear infections continuously. Switched over to Natures Variety Instinct Limited Ingredient Lamb Meal and Pea Formula and she has been doing great! Everything cleared up.

Took my 9mo GSP out on opening day for her first dove hunt. She did great!

Thank you both. I also downloaded a pedigree. Not really sure how to read it...? Is there a way to find out the backgrounds of the dogs? Do I just have to search them online?
