Kennel run flooring

I currently have 3 dogs and would like to build some nice kennel run for my dogs but i am stuck between laying cement or using wood for the flooring. Any input would be appreciated. Also whats the cost difference between the 2.

Aggressive pup

The breeder notified me that this pup is the first that he has seen with this type of behavior. He has had 7 litters in the past and none has shown this behavior. The female was newly introduced into his breeding program. The female has had other litters before she was purchased. The breeder has tol...

Aggressive pup

A pup that I have chosen has shown some aggression towards other pups already. Should this be a concern? I started to notice this behavior while visiting the pup at the breeder. The breeder feeds all the pups together on the floor with no bowl. The pup will not allow any pups to eat so the breeder w...

Whoa the dog or let him chase?

You got away with that Chriss but I wouldn't recommend it - risky. The dog can easily think that the correction is coming the birds he's chasing = possible blinking. That is true and i only considered it because i was exactly how tuff and hard headed my dog was. I tried about everything i could thi...

Whoa the dog or let him chase?

I had this problem last season and what i end up doing was allowing the dog to bump birds and when he chased i would stop him with the ecollar. I only shot the birds he pointed and if he didn't point i would just walk away and ignore him. After the season i cleaned up his breaking and steadiness. T...

I own a garmin pro 550 and the dogtra 2500. I use the garmin for training and the 2500 for hunting. The 2500 is smaller and has a beeper in the collar already.

Pointing wild game ?

My dog has been steady to point and flush and shot during game farm and planted. But i took him out on pheasant opener and it seems like he doesn't really get a chance to point or doesn't point at all. He bumped a few hen and a rooster and would chase instead of being steady. Should i be correcting ...
