Just curious how many of your have dogs that like to chase reptiles such as lizards. Do you think it can cause any problems when it comes to working birds? I have found a few covies with decent numbers of birds, but they are few, and far between. You really have to get out and wear out some leather to find them. I have only hunted the covies once and only shot about 1 or 2 birds out of them. The numbers last year were low, and are even lower this year....

I had the same problem with my GSP, I used two balms, one was SWAT pink stuff the vet told me about. SWAT will keep the flies away. The other I used was bag balm, which is basically udder balm. Apply it two times a day until they heal. One cut would not heal so I super glued it shut....that worked.

A friend gave me a remington model 1100 semi auto. The barrel indicates "steal shot only", another friend looked at it and said all I need to do is change out the chokes. Does that sound right, or do I need to get a new barrel?
