I like to use 2 dogs when hunting pheasant. They work together, and it seems the birds will run less when pressured by 2 dogs.

Most hunters I know don't want their dog in sight or under their feet,that's not what pointing dogs are for unless they are not broke & you want to shoot every bird your dog runs up. :? I am by no means a trialer. I am a hunter. I don't understand why you would want your dog so far out in front of you that you couldn't see it. I like my dogs to work with/for me, not hunting out on their own.

I have an F150 4x4 with a cap. I built a drawer system and absolutely love it. The platform above the drawers also slides out so I don't have to climb under the cap, and also gives me easy access behind the crates. Back.JPG Drawers.JPG BirdCrazy, that's an awesome set up ! It is absolutely genetic. My vizsla and gsp point, but my boxer does not. He loves to chase, but point he will not do.
