She eats normal and eats out of a small bowl from the ground. She doesn't have a deep chest, a very easy keeper, and she has never puked her food back. She is only 3mths old. Is it something that she needs to grow out of?

Does anyone know why every time my dog (Gsp) finishes to eat she ends up with hick ups? Is she eating to fast? What can I do?

Was your Gsp the runt of the litter? I have a Gsp that was the runt and she is 3mths and weighs about 14lbs. While her brothers are way bigger than her.

How soon can I start training my Gsp to stand like yours? Also, how can I keep her calm? She is only 8wks and is a ball of craziness...

Has anyone fed Natures Domain dog food from Costco? From some research, they rate it at 4stars and has pretty good reviews.

Thanks everyone, I think that all of have hit the nail in the head. She is the smallest from the group, doesn't rush to eat, active and most of all very healthy. I do hope that she turns out as a good retriever when I go hunt doves. Again, thanks for the replies.

Sharon, Thanks for your response. As of right now, she hasn't had any problems and is eating great, runs around a lot. I have been reading around and have found that some Gsp that are runts can be only up to 32 to 40lbs. Have you heard otherwise? I do have a friend that has a Gsp and it's also a run...
