No they aren't. Canidae is an independently owned company and has its foods made in several locations. American Nutrition makes most and Diamond makes the grain free formulas.

I am sure many Labs do well on 30/20 foods but that wouldn't be my first choice for a Lab, or similar breeds. I would use a food with about 30% protein and much lower fat.

Little update on Red Flannel & Exclusive. Land O Lakes moved production from Diamond to Texas Farm Products in the summer.
Texas Farm Products has a few brands but Precise is the best known. I don't believe this company has ever had quality problems or a recall.

A lot depends on the breed too. I would make room in the truck for the smaller dogs. A big lab, chessi or spinone won't mind the weather as much, but a brit or even a shorthair?

I had a female Jr Terrier that did that. She would always squat and nothing came out. I have no idea why she did that but she lived for 18 years. I would ask the vet if cystine stones or other bladder stones are a possibility. Cystine stones are an inherited condition perhaps you can ask the breeder.

At the Canidae price-point Eukanuba Premium is a good food, easy to get, and comes in a 28/18 and 30/20. The 28/18 would probably work for all your dogs.

Noone wants to spend all day picking up after a dog but I think people take cutting back because they use a richer feed to extremes. Cutting a dog from 3 cups to 2 cups just because you using a 30/20 just isn't right. Forget the calories, you just cut protein intake from about 75 grams to 60 grams. ...
