Re: Estimating Nutrient Concentration on a Caloric Basis

That is interesting. When I've compared dog feed (and like everyone else)... I have always looked at the calories, % of protein, fat and then looked at the list of vitamins and nutrients. I feed dry dog food but add a whack of canned food or similar that I make myself. Maybe the canned food adds mor...

Re: Supplement for weigh gain?

The 32/32 is 720kcal per cup. Great food. Sent from my moto g power 5G - 2023 using Tapatalk I tried a few bags of the 32/32 and found it to be a little to hot on its own for my dogs. I was probably over feeding it. I ended up blending it with leftover PPP to use it up. I can feed the 30/25 with no...

Another option to either supplements or satin balls would be to go with a higher calorie and fat dog food. Inukshuk 30/25 has 587 kcal per cup and is a very dense dog food. I switched my GSP and Vizsla off of the PPP Salmon & Rice 30/20 over to it. They have a map of re-sellers on their website. I f...

Life Flight Insurance is relatively inexpensive. I bought mine direct and it provides coverage in multiple states that I live and hunt in. It also covers my wife. My ACR PLB cost under $400 and has a 5 year battery life or about $80 bucks a year. Both make a lot of sense to me.
