I have seen the suregator work but it was about in the 3 and 4th years before the numbers were and you could see it had worked... Last I looked a dog cant read......lol, but if they are papered at least you hope it's from good lines.....If you want test dogs,trial lines, field champs look them up, but go watch the parents hunt or work with birds find out if your getting a foot hunting dog or you need to buy a horse and gps uni...

True one parent has to be black! I have had a solid black female that I breed to a white and black male 2 of there liver female pups have been breed to other liver males and no black pups from them. You have to have a black sire or dam doesn't mater!

28 gauge proven holds a pattern longer than any other gauge! I would rather purchase a 28 for kids and women than a 20, yes the price for shells sucks but all around better and lighter gun and round! IMO! IMO due to amount of brands and gauges I see every year guiding its just the gun of choice afte...

Never had a pup gun shy at all! Every litter I have had was born during or before a thunderstorm, no issues! But after my now 13 yr old Lab started having seizures 4 yrs ago she doesn't care fore thunder it has given her seizures,

I guide at a lodge here in NW. Kansas we offer quail hunts we have established wild coveys on our property from the birds that have gotten away to neighbors property. Look into a 28 ga. Tri Star Auto, very inexpensive, light, not much recoil and great gun, my 12 yr old used one knows what she wants for her bday or Christmas this yr! Cost is under $500, better money spent then sorry to say a Remington 870 sorry Guys!

I was just curious how many guys have pointing labs that sit in the duck or goose blind and have made good waterfowl dogs. Friend has two pointing labs and has tried to take them waterfowling and dogs have a hard time sitting in the blind.

I am looking to buy a 4 hole dog trailer. I have looked at alot of manufactures out there just wondering if I have over looked some I really dont want to spend a ton of money if I dont have to. Anyoe know of any companies out there that arent big names???

There are alot of good brands on the market. Mine was custom built. I think you have to consider the weather factor, I wouldnt put money out for a box for where I live I would just get a nice aluminum one that is vented good.

I would just get the shot and have half the worries out of the way with a bit of security! All of my dogs are vaccianated, since in 9 years I have had 2 dogs bit in octber. both survived, both bit in the face.

When guiding at preserve we hunt for 3 to 3 1/2 haurs in the morning and around 4 hours in the afternoon. I dont hunt much different when of the preserve either, dogs get a good luch break bout 2 hours or so.

I have picked pups for guys and just did for 4 guys that came and picked them up last weekend, I usually pick probably 3 to 4 pups per litter I have raised, I have had 2 picked for me but that is cuase it was a distance thing and I was telling the breeder what I wanted.
