Monster- thank you for correcting me. I was wrong between the two. NO doubt about it. I'm not too big to admit it either, or too big to admit it was a big discrepancy. I did edit that statement out of my original post so as not to give the wrong impression. It's been a long 2 days as my oldest dog w...

Retriever Dog Food- DO NOT PURCHASE

I just wanted to give the forum a friendly heads up about not purchasing this Tractor Supply Co. house brand dog food. I know it is cheap, and the bag looks great- but it is dangerous, and has the potential to be deadly. I say that statement knowing just how serious the claim is. Meat and bone meal,...

Re: To or Not Too Feed Raw Diet?

I have a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. I feed and recommend raw, and I recommend making your own raw. It is more complicated, it takes time, and it costs more money, but the end result cannot be argued with. For the record, I analyze and sell food for a living, and there are some kibbles that are goo...

I work at a pet retailer that sells this collar, and I'll tell you that is a great price. Yea, not this century "bleep" retards. Your stance on big pet food, and big farm, and grain, and by products, and 4 d animals, and recalled food, and euthanized pets, and pentobarbital is all eerily clear the way you stand. I couldn't convince them to think like I do. The way they think is irrespons...

I absolutely cannot comprehend that anyone, in this day and age, would recomend that 39 million pounds of ANYTHING, not be recycled into something useful. That is absurd. While you call it a terrible waste, I would call it responsible practices. Such is the difference between us. I would expect a company to destroy these contaminated remains, and not push them off into pet food under such hideous swiss cheese regulations and definitions.

Anyone here feed Loyall and River Run?

Thanks to the lack of regulation, those bags will now be filled with the 36 million pounds of recalled ground Turkey meat. Naturally, Cargill will be recycling these recalled, likely unrefrigerated (many months now) contaminated bits into your bags under "meat meal", and "poultry by products". I'm a...
