Pics from the Eastern GSPC Trial in Medford, NJ
This past weekend I attended my first trial (we compete in hunt tests) and I'd thought I'd share some pics I took. It was a great event with a ton of super nice people. Got a new logo!
I just wanted to share with everyone my new logo! GDF member Greg Blair (PntrRookie) designed it for me over the last few weeks. I can't even begin to convey how great he has been to deal with. When I read about what happened to your friends GSP it broke my heart. I just feel terrible for him and his family. Bob Corsaro from Nobelle's Kennel in Ridgewood, NJ is breeding his dam this week. I know he is still accepting deposits on females. I can't say enough good things about Bob or the GSP ...

Re: how many of you give your dogs bones and/or chew toys??
We get marrow bones and pig ears from the local butcher every couple of weeks for our girl. She used to get hooves but I can't stand the smell of them so she doesn't get those anymore. I make most of her dog treats at home. And she gets spoiled rotten with toys full of squeakers. The more the better...

My GSP got rubbed raw in a neoprene vest this past summer. I cleaned her raw skin really well and put bagbalm on her and had her wear a t-shirt so she couldn't lick it off. It worked really well and she was good to go in a couple of days. Good luck.

I'm by no means a professional but I just saw something very similar on a friends dog and it ended up being a staph infection. It can be super itchy for the dog and is contagious so wash your hands. My advice is to take Cooper to the vet to be sure. If it is staph an antibiotic will clear it up.

We have an invisible fence from Pet Stop. It encloses about an acre and a half. I can't say enough good things about it.
