I have had people confuse my pointers with several breeds also. They normally ask about my GSP's which I think is the most common comment. My personal favorite is people commenting on my Dalmation. A prong collar to prevent the pulling ahead, and a quick tug on the lead, repeat heel and put them next to you when they pull forward.....ruth I did the same on my 90# lab.. the prong collar works wonders plus it doesnt hurt the dog like a chocker chain does. We're shopping. We have a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 (quad cab) gasser that we're getting around 11 MPG highway with no trailer, and with my small (2000 lb)trailer and 2 horses is getting in the area of 8.7 mpg. The darned thing has the Hemi in it, so requires mid-grade gas too, which is nearly $4.00 gall...

Dave here, I have a choc lab I use for duck hunting but looking forward to trying him on upland this season. I have had a GSP in the past and hope to someday have a Setter. Im looking forward to gaining some good info here.
