Not one acre of the land that was taken out of Bears Ear and Grand Staircase was given to the state of Utah. It is still under federal ownership.

That is the grief line you are describing, tough as nails, a little smaller, run etc.

I have a dog bred on those lines. He is 15 months old and a Son of Evolutions Primo Creation who was a son of Beiers Evolution. These dogs go back to Grief lines.

Esser grief is not really a line. Essers Chick was mated to Melissa von Grief and that is the root of the name esser grief. That breeding was an outcross breeding.

The only problem I have with CRP is farmers posting crp land when they are on the government dole. A small portion of my tax money that I pay every year goes into that farmers pocket yet I can't enjoy my tax dollars at work. Also, who's to say all those dogs had glycemic problems. Maybe they were just out of condition. My dogs often times go on week long trips where they run 4-5 days in a row. I feed a light meal in the morning in addition to a night feeding even on hunting days. I get up at 5, or sometimes to 4 on hunting days and feed right when I get up. I have a dog that flags on pen birds but rarely flags on wild birds anymore. As a young dog she flagged in everything but over time she stopped flagging wild birds for the most part with the rare exception where she scents them along way off but does not have them pinned.
