I was very active in this group for 5-6 years. My wife and I started having kids about 6 years ago. We kept hunting but not nearly like I did previously. I'm slowly getting back to being able to hunt as much as I did 10 years ago. Question is where do y'all find pigeons for summer training? I've nev...

It might be a little outside your desired driving range, but I would check out Bruce Shaffer at Almost Heaven GSP's. They are in Springfield WV which is about 4 1/2 hours from Virginia Beach. He breeds, raises, trains and handles GSP's. Her also trains other bird dog breeds. I have personally seen ...

Anyone have 4'x4' plans. I have the phantom plans but its just too big for me to transport. I'd be more than happy to share the phantom plans for 4'x4' plans. I'm sure many can do this w/o a layout, but I'm a horrible carpenter and tend to do better while following a template.

Good...I'm sure that having less concern helps everyone rest easier and you have built up a bit of experience, for any dog change you witness, for what field conditions may deliver to a dog and...for the next time. A vet check is still your call.....the Vet may simply advise all is well w/o testing...

She is acting completely normal. It is a bit worse, now her entire urine is brownish instead of spotting, but she is acting like nothing is wrong. Also, she is the type of dog that whines when any small thing happens, but as of now she's bright eyed and sunshine. I just mixed a little pedialyte in h...

Curious if anyone uses 2 whistles for different commands. Example being 1 pealess burst for whoa-1 ref whistle burst for hear. Curious if dogs can differentiate.
Most of the people Ive hunted with use 1 whistle with different burst for different commands.

Also, if I place it in a forested area will the pigeons have a problem coming back, or does the coop have to be in the open?
