Re: Reloading shotgun shells
Thanks gotpointers. I purchased a MEC sizemaster yesterday. I was used, but not that much. The thing was spotless and it came with an extra charge bar for 7/8, or 1 oz. Some other goodies as well. Got it all delivered to the house for $180. Seemed worth the extra money. I had a MEC 600 jr. when I wa...

Reloading shotgun shells
Hi everyone. I was thinking about starting to reload my own 20 shells for upland hunting. I like the Lee 90012 reloader but would consider the Mec if it's worth the extra $. Can anyone give me some good clear advice on the best powder, primers, wads etc. to use? I like 1 oz. of number 6 shot. Thanks.

Hey Gary, I just cut down the stock on an 1100 20 ga. Got a extra soft recoil pad and she loves it.

Indian Creek Shine, the 2009/2010 US Complete National Open Shooting Dog of the Year!! The mother, Indian Creek Lizzy, holds many titles herself. I expect great th...

Re: Whats Style to you ?
Well here is my pride and joy. She is 5 years old Pointer, was the runt in the litter and has a bent tail from being pushed against the mothers womb. Not a show winner, but I would put here up against the best in the field! We always limit out and she works like there is no tomorrow. Oh, and don't e...

Cool. Thanks for the info. She is used to a load beep from the Dogtra, (when it worked) but I will be careful to test it before we are in the field.

TT G3 Sport Upland
Hi Everyone, I just bought a TT G3 Sport Upland. I'm switching from a Dogtra 2500 with the beeper. Which buy the way was a piece of junk. Any good info on working the collar with the correction and beeper. The main reason I got it was the beeper. I am lucky enough that I almost never have to correct...

Re: New guy from South Jersey!
Hi Jill, Thanks for the welcome. All pheasant hunting in Jersey is done with stocking. We have no local population. I guess between all the predators, and the lack of open space, (cornfields etc.) they just cannot survive. So the state releases about 45000 pheasant a year in designated areas. It's a...

New guy from South Jersey!
Hi. Just joined and I am looking forwards to getting and sharing great info. I've been hunting since I was a child, in the early 70's, and got serious about bird hunting 4 years ago. It has become an obsession, which I have gotten my wife and son into. We hunt state land, (stocked) from Nov.-Dec. I ...
