Bells are way more obnoxious than beepers IMHO....if you run it on the point only mode. I often turn if off remotely, then turn it on to find out where the dog is. I always turn it off once the dog goes on point.

Lots of young birds here in W. Wyoming. I think the dry spring and all the remnant cover from the last few years with good moisture made conditions about perfect. Seemed like there were more hunters out than the past few years as well.....

Pressure on Huns is not that great, you should be able to find birds on Block areas or talk with landowners. As long as you are not hunting pheasant or deer, the numbers of hunters chasing huns and sharptails is not that great....
