You ever find strange pigeons in your coop?

Went out this morning and grabbed a few birds and head out to the field. One of the birds I grabbed had leg bands that are not mine. One of the bands are red and is the type that you put on at like 3 days old and the other is a blue snap on band no number. I guess its safe to assume its a homer from...

I don't understand why people say this type of loft is only good for 10 birds or so. My loft is similar to this maybe a tad taller is the only difference. I currently keep 22-25 birds in my loft and have not had any problems so far. I want to build a bigger loft but for now it seems to be working.

You don't need anyone to meet him because the choice is gonna be pretty limited. They are a pretty low end shotgun. I didn't hear Ezzy say anything about Squirting water down the dogs throat. When I use a squirt bottle with my dog, all I have to do is start squirting water toward the dogs mouth. If he's thirsty he will start lapping it up imediatly. I think this is what Ezzy was getting at. The problem with this ...

One reason you might consider having a collapsable bowl is that you are trying to make your water go as far as you can. My dogs will drink from a squirt bottle too but we sure go through a lot more water than when he drinks out of a bowl.

Kept my birds out to late:( Lesson learned.

Took my dog and some homers out to late this afternoon trying to escape the heat. I got there about 7pm and set out 3 birds in launchers and let my dog smell the other 3 in hand and let them go. Then I worked my dog on the 3 planted birds and was finished around 8pm loading the gear and headed for t...

Looks like its coming along. I know building mine was a pain in the but so I built mine to last as long as possible. You might want to consider using plywood instead. It will hold up much longer over time IMO. Also a little tip when you are cutting out your doors. Cut just where your hinges go first...

I built a coop and built it up off the ground and with a aviary on the front like many on the forum have done before me. My back yard is a 1/2 acre and my dog has full run of the yard. The coop is in the same yard as my dog. I started letting my birds free fly and they were doing good at first. Then...
