The birds eye imagery is handy, calibrate the compass before your hunt and make sure the batteries are charged.

Dog goes in an orange vest, and if anyone shoots at the dog I'm shooting them. Since they stock here most deer hunters avoid those areas. My bigger problem is keeping my ranging pup from running up to other bird hunters. :oops:

Nylabones (Galileo is great), ropes, balls (tennis balls and the cheap squeaky ones are favorites), rawhide, ears, or bullystick.

EP....are very hard hunters and they can get the job done. My dog keeps tearing up his entire underside, and turns red after a day hunting. Tried to run him with a skid plate and it made the front of his armpits by his chest raw, still managed to get himself cut up elsewhere. Going to try to "modify" it.

I have read the reviews, but can not tell if the communications between the user and the dog are any better. Has the line of sight thing improved? 9 miles out on the ocean will not help me;-)= How fast are the updates. I have a big fast running dog and faster updates would be better than saving bat...

Thanks for the responses guys. I was thinking leaving it behind would be the best bet. Tomorrow is youth pheasant in NJ. Walk over to him and pick his butt up so hes standing and tell him to woah, if he tries to sit pick him up again. Might also help if you do this somewhere aside from where you taught sit.

I would assume they would be adjusting the price. I got an email saying LCS has the 220 for 499, but i haven't checked their site. I would just go with the 320, i like new technology.

I only keep them for a week or two if I have some left over from training, so I just toss them some pigeon feed. I hate them though, they fly and smell like crap.

I built one, only thing I would've done differently so far was cut one of the side doors all the way down even with the floor so I could scrape the crap right out.
