Howdy folks, Well I didn't get to take a trip out West last fall, so this fall I'm making up for it with a trip to Montana. I decided to chronicle my trip and the lead-up to the trip by creating a blog. I really just put it together as a diary for myself and family/close friends but I figured I'd sh...

Hahaha, i'd love to see how people would react to that moose in the back of the truck here in the city where I live. They'd try to have you arrested as a terrorist. Of course they all eat meat, they just want to pretend it grows on trees

They should set it up so that these guys HAVE TO LIVE IN THEIR HOME DISTRICT, among the people that they are representing, not in DC. With technology being what it is (telepresence, email etc.), they could easily vote and do all the things they need to do from home. Private individuals do it all the...

Re: Our President Deserves an Award
Well my family health insurance went up 225% because of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare). Obama and the democrat party are SOLELY responsible for that. So don't give me this line about "we're all to blame." I am not to blame. People who believe that government programs are going to solve all thei...

Re: Our President Deserves an Award
Blame George W. Bush for the mess we're in?? That is hilarious. Obama has been president for almost 6 years now. At some point he has to start taking responsibility. Oh and how about telling your precious Obama to stop subsidizing his cronies in the "green energy" industry. I'm getting sick of seein...

Re: Bird habitat and "green energy"
Sorry, now that I look at what I wrote I see that it was confusing.
I was saying that most people's perception of ethanol is that it is a green energy. I was saying that in response to clink83. That is not MY view. I think that ethanol is a crock and that the government should stop subsidizing it.

Bird habitat and "green energy"
Saw this article and thought about all the loss of habitat due to ethanol production. I believe that a person should be able to do what they want with their own land, but it would be nice if the government didn't encourage it with misguided policies that hurt more than they help. http://m.sfgate.com...

Re: First time out - going for Sharptail and Partridge in ND
What time of day to hunt really depends on the weather, how cool or warm it is. But generally I would hunt 2 hrs in the morning and 2 hrs late afternoon/evening. It sounds like you'll just be using one dog so you don't want to wear him out. As far tactics and what to look for, I would say that you s...

Scott, I know exactly what you mean. My britt will be hot and panting and all I want to see is her jump into one of these cool, clear streams around my house. My gsp will get right in and cool down but the britt just sort of sticks her paws in the water. It would give me such satisfaction for britt ...

Thats interesting since there sales are about half of what they had been, in 2007 they produced about 200K tundras last year it was down to 100K., must be a regional thing. I would think the economy played a big part in those numbers. In 2007 the F150 sold 695K units at dropped to 645K in 2012, the...

I was in the same boat. I just got a crewmax and Ive been real happy with it. I felt bad buying anything other than a ford but it was the right decision. This thing drives so smooth and has good power. The backseat is huge, I can fit two dog boxes plus all my gear. I definitely recommend it

Just out of curiosity, are there still huntable populations of bobs down in the Lowcountry? From what I've read, back in the old days there used to be so many birds they were a nuisance.
