I believe the urine is what causes them to rust. I had a welded wire kennel from Tractor supply that sat outside on a concrete slab. Sat there for 4 or 5 years. Not one bit of rust or sign of rusting. Ive got a male that cocks his leg on the panels, after a year they are covered in surface rust.

I agree that Facebook has a lot to do with it.
There are so many "groups" on there these day that you can follow. Its so easy for people to snap a picture or record a video and post it to these groups and have a discussion. Or get their pat on the back

Ezzy is right. A britt would be just as good of a choice as any other bird dog breed. With good breeding behind them, they all can get the job done. After that it comes down to what breed fits the requirement for the task at hand and personal preference.

Have you properly introduced the e collar to the dog? It may be just be a reaction to the surprise of the stimulation.
If you haven't properly introduced the ecollar, I would read up on it and start from there. Most of the manufactures have articles on their websites.

My Brittany does the same thing. Dog beds, jackets, shirts, towels and blankets. And even destroyed the arm rests in the couch.
No more beds for him and I have to always keep an eye on him.
Never uses the mud river bed. Used the Kong crate pads and he had holes in it after the first night.

Put a light up Saturday so they have 24 hr light. I checked today and I have a nest with 2 eggs already.
Hopefully the the other pairs are not far behind?
Next question. How do you know if they are fertile?
Don't want to waste 29 days if the first ones are no good.

Do you use a light to get your birds to breed sooner?
When do you start?
I would like to have birds ready to fly early this spring. Last year it was late in the spring before I had young bird ready to use for training. Spent a lot of time waiting.

All you can really do is obedience and handling work. Can't do bird work without birds.
See if you can get a few pigeons (bough or trapped) every week or so and use them if you have a place to work the dog.
