Re: Walking Field Trial.
I'm attending my first NSTRA trial next weekend. I'm pretty excited. I'm just going to watch though, I'm having a problem with Tucker not slamming onto rock solid points and STAYING on them without breaking, I think it is because he has been on so many running pheasant and no wild quail that don't ...

Re: Trailer or Dog Box
The only thing I like about the trailer would be the room in the bed of the truck for luggage. And it would be a 10ft. 2 axle trailer. But it is a safety issue and a pain to pull nationwide. Problem would be finding a way to build a 6 hole double stacked dog box and fit the luggage in at the same t...

Re: Trailer or Dog Box
Do you have a travel trailer you pull? If not, go with the trailer. That is why I have a box, not a trailer. I pull my camper everywhere the dogs and I go. Dog trailers that are designed right, do not bounce that bad when going down the road. But, you can also build a box with storage on the bottom....

Your crazy. You can't use a duty gun in the field. A duty gun will have an 18 inch barrel. A field gun will have a 26" barrel. If you must use a Benelli M4. Review the 5th sentence. It states the following: "and then maby switch out barrles and take it to the field or shoot trap and or skeet"

Do you carry bean bag rounds? Have you looked at the Benelli M3? I personally have never seen a Deparment use the same gun for lethal/non-lethal rounds. They are clearly marked accordingly. Around here non-lethal guns are kept in the trunk and lethal in the passenger compartment of the squad car. L...

It's my favorite color, plus what the OP is looking for is so hard to find, just like a lab that points and is silver.

If you do make it to Michigan, look me up and I'll take you to some great locations. I am off work the whole month of October, so I will already be there. I took out quite a few friends/trialers this year, and they never seen a day they couldn't have shot their limits. Sometimes within a few hours.

You have to remember patterning steel shot is different than lead. Steel patterns a full choke size tighter than lead. You're right about that, so wouldn't using a full choke be counterproductive?
