Re: KIDS AND HUNTING, HOW OLD??
I wasn't allowed to go hunting until I was 10 or so. I always expressed interest in going. My dad mainly deer hunted and I was always opening the tailgate when he got home to see what he shot. He butchered his own deer so I helped with what I could and did some packaging etc. The first bird hunt I w...

I had pronghorns that failed within a year. Water comes right in and I called and they wouldn't replace them because it was just after a year since purchase. If you are going Danner, stay with the boots made in the US.

I spoke with a tri-tronics rep at the game fair this weekend and he said they haven't had any complaints with it so far. You have to change the settings on the actual beeper for what mode you want it but you can locate as long as its turned on.

Similar discussion going on in my household right now although I have a 16 month old shorthair right now. I really don't think I will "win" this argument/debate. Seems more realistic to spread out getting another dog for a year or two so they don't grow old at the same time.

Few things going on with my 15 month old shorthair and I'm not sure if they are related or not and if a visit to the vet is needed. This is my first dog so i'm not all sure what is normal. My in-laws are pretty good. Funny thing is, they have 2 labs that aren't allowed in the house. When we go visit, they insist that we have Stella inside and she gets a lot of attention from them. Does anyone give the leptospirosis vaccine? I've heard conflicting thoughts on it and wondering what everyone does. My 7 month old gsp caught a rooster in ND this year. I was shocked.
