Well, the bump hasn't returned, so perhaps it was just a sebaceous cyst. I hadn't thought that originally because of the color and lack of smell.
Like someone else mentioned, the ol girl has more to worry about trying to get her back end to keep up with her front!

Hasn't been too much of a problem for us either. I just put a towel under her when she gets on any furniature, and wipe up the occasional drop from the floor. Haven't tried the underwear/diaper yet, but sounds like a great idea when visiting.

My dog loves them. I know I have seen it as an ingredient in dog foods, so it is safe for them to eat. I imagine this would even be great for the skin and coat since it has so many good oils/vitamins in it. Also a great source of protein (for a veggie). Bon apetit!

I got my dogs vest from Cabela's. I have a 60-lb GSP, she fits inbto the L but if she gets any bigger I think we will have to go to the bigger size. They work great. We got one armor flex and one with the armor flex and floatation. Keeps them much warmer in the water - we use them hunting in the win...

Normally, I just take her in the shower with me and wash with water only, baby soap is more for cleaning her ears out as they have gotten infected before. I have a bottle of pure tea tree oil right here at home. Ok to just mix that in with a mild soap? ( I usually use baby shampoo on her.) I thought I might have read about tea tree being toxic to dogs at some point - just rinse super well then?

GSP's are really smart, but I think the hardest commands with them will be stay and heel. 12 weeks is pretty young, so don't overdo it. They are always a million miles an hour, sometimes it even seems like they are trying to go slower, but physiclly cant. :)

Where I am living now is very small land (under 1 acre), although there are a fair amount of woods behind our house (at least 20 acres). The place I would be moving to during the summer has 5 acres plus unlimited woods around the land, very few houses on the road. Cover is pretty thick in both place...
