Still just fun running with her. She loves chasing killdeer in the feild behind the house. Just spending time walking different ways she is, to keep her used to hunting with me. Been going real well. Will have to get some fresh pics up soon.

The webbed feet feet help them climb trees when they get board waiting in the blind... I'm not saying a dog has done this just lol. As for the lab cross: I think this was done after the pointer strictly to bring the traditional color back into the breed. :D Don't you have a shih tzu to comb out or ...

Looking good Mark, nice to see Pevo, looks a lot like my Pull. Glad it's finally nice enough to want to be outside more often. Janie is having a blast chasing after the "killdeer" I think they are called and sparrows I really need to get some more pics. Thanks for sharing.

It says the collar will hold a charge for 17 -36 hours. If I only used it for two and wait two days to use it again will it be too weak? Should I charge every outing? Just wondering if that will make the battery weak.

Finally got myself a Garmin for the dog. Pull has always had a shock collar on before and has had the same one since he was a pup. I took my Australian Sheppard with me squirrel hunting many times. It can be very effective as they will get just high enough to get away from the dog and sit there barking at the dog paying almost no attention to you. I only hunt squirrels with a .22 so never had problems with dog being gunshy one ...

I think my opinion on a dogs range would change if I could afford a gps unit. We used two 2x4's about 8 to 10 inches in length with some home made straps "off an old backpack" that were stapled on the sides. When the dogs were fed would clap them together a couple times while they were eating. You can start light and actually get it loud enough it rings your ears. We lived in...
