why is it that a lab is better for dove? it's been stated that labs are a flushing breed of dog. does that mean they find the bird then run up on it to make it fly? if that is the case wouldn't a pointer be able to point, then i go up and kick the ground to make it fly? again just asking questions t...

charlie sorry if i offended you, that wasn't my intent. as stated in the original post that is what i got out of the reading and research that i have to date. i have stated that i'm new to this and i looking to learn. i haven't seen a quality GSP or EP, for that matter i have seen a bad one either.....
